Sun & Moon: Double Burst is identified as the fifth installment among six catch-up sets within the Asian Sun & Moon Era in the Pokémon Trading Card Game. Available exclusively in Traditional Chinese and Thai markets, this collection's Indonesian counterpart is known as the Tag Team Collection. Notably, it marks the third expansion to be released in Traditional Chinese.
 
 
Double Burst was released in Thailand on February 27, 2020. This collection draws its cards from the Japanese Tag Bolt and Double Blaze expansions, alongside the associated Night Unison, Full Metal Wall, and GG End subsets, with a notable focus on TAG TEAM Pokémon-GX. Divided into two sets, Set A and Set B, each set hones in on specific Pokémon types. Set A includes Grass-type, Water-type, Lightning-type, Darkness-type, and Dragon-type Pokémon, while Set B features Fire-type, Psychic-type, Fighting-type, Metal-type, Fairy-type, and Dragon-type Pokémon. The booster pack art for each set showcases specially commissioned illustrations by Mitsuhiro Arita, inspired by those from the Japanese Tag Bolt and Double Blaze expansions.
