What does “Jumbo Pack” mean? Are the Cards Jumbo-Sized?
Nope! Normal Cards – the pack is “jumbo” because it contains 25 cards inside! S-Chinese cards can also come in "Slim Packs" which only have 5 cards inside.  If you're new to Simplified Chinese Cards, keep scrolling; we have a ton of helpful info!
 
Are there REALLY Exclusive Cards in this Set?
Yes! Brave Stars (CS5bC-Lucario Pack Art) and its sister set, Charming Stars (CS5aC –Typhlosion pack art) contain 14 cards that are not available in any other language. These cards are from the Pokemon Go set and needed to be re-designed since Pokémon Go is banned in China.

What is the difference between Brave Stars (CS5BC-Lucario Pack Art) and Charming Stars (CS5AC –Typhlosion pack art)
These 'sister sets' are 2 halves of the same collection. Brave Stars Focusses on Grass, Water, Fighting, and Steel Pokemon while Charming Stars focusses on Fire, Electric, Psychic and Dark. If you look at the top, right corner of the box art/pack art, you'll see the type-icons.
 
What Other Sets make up Brave/Charming Stars?
Brave and Charming Stars contain cards from Pokemon Go, Crown Zenith, Incandescent Arcana, Astral Radiance, Lost Origin, Brilliant Stars, Star Birth, and More.
 
S-Chinese Cards Facts:
S-Chinese cards (Simplified Chinese) were released for residents in Mainland China. In the past, Chinese cards were only distributed to residents in Taiwan/Hong Kong. We call those T-Chinese cards (Traditional Chinese)
They are printed in Japan
S-Chinese cards have the "classic blue" back (like English cards) 
Many S-Chinese cards come in 2 different packaging options.
Jumbo Booster Boxes with 6 jumbo packs per and 25 cards per pack
Slim Booster Boxes with 24 packs and 5 cards per pack. The slim-packs come in plastic blisters similar to cardboard sleeves in English cards
 
*There are exceptions to the above bullet point with some S-Chinese sets coming in booster boxes with 20 packs and 6 cards per pack. An example is the newest set, Shadow of Glory.

“Slim” Booster Boxes
24 Packs Per Box | 5 Cards per Pack | come in plastic “sleeves” which are meant for hanging on retail racks in local stores. (See picture)
SR NOT GUARANTEED in a box (like Korean sets) BUT you CAN pull more than 1 SR card in the same box if you’re lucky
Packs have the same card trick as Japanese cards (one to the front)
Boxes are wrapped in clear wrapping – they do not have Pokeball art printed.
 
There are reportedly minor differences between identical cards that are pulled from Jumbo-Packs rather than Slim-Packs
 
In Jumbo packs, certain cards with texture (Full arts for example) tend to have more “sparkle” to them compared to slim-pack cards. They look more like Japanese cards in this matter.
On the other hand, certain cards from slim-packs tend to look more saturated and bright. They have less sparkle but "pop" more.
 
Keep in mind, all S-Chinese cards are printed in Japan and these differences are not officially acknowledged by the Pokémon Company. These statements are based on collectors’ reviews on YouTube. Additionally, these differences are not significant enough to stand out in your collection (unless you really know to look for them). We just wanted to share some fun facts about the product.
